Introductory workshop on using the MiScreen digital screen maker to produce A4 size silk screens for screen printing onto fabric or paper. This one day workshop is aimed at artists or illustrators who want to experiment with bringing digital images from the computer screen to a silk screen using a unique digital thermal process that only takes 30 seconds to create a silkscreen. Each participant will have the opportunity to create their own screen to take away, along with test prints on paper and onto a cotton tote bag. All materials will be provided and laptops will be available to use for the design software.

Phoebe Dick is actively involved with The Leitrim Sculpture Centre Print Studios and is currently coordinating a programme of peer-to-peer printmaking workshops in the studios. This social aspect of Dick's practice depends significantly on her ability and desire to connect with people from all walks of life in various situations and settings.

Stuart Lawn is currently the director of FABLAB Manorhamilton, a digital fabrication facility and creative makerspace in rural Leitrim. He believes, given half a chance, everyone has a great design or an innovative product inside them and he really wants to be there to help make that spark of creativity happen.
