"Across the Lines" is a community cross border project organised by Ruth Gonsalez and the Glen's centre, Manorhamilton. The project was exhibited at the the Sculpture Centre's pop up shop and included a collective Film-Poem made by women along the border, and portraits and texts written and imagined by men around our border area.
The work presented has emerged from a number of facilitated workshop processes with award-winning Irish American author Michael Patrick McDonald, the film-maker Roisin Loughrey, Leitrim based poet/creative writer Monica Corish and Fermanagh based photographer Trevor Armstrong.
Participatory projects were undertaken in collaboration with North Leitrim mens and NCCWN - North Leitrim Women's Centre and was funded by International Fund for Ireland.
