The TRANSITIONS workshop and exhibition project supports enriching levels of technical learning and creative practice for transition year students from schools and colleges in Co. Leitrim. Tactile, experimental and collaborative making across the open spaces and facilities of the Centre takes place during the fall each year with an exhibition of work made displayed early the following year. Transitions, as its name suggests, emphasises the creative development, mobility and evolution of ideas, materials and participants across a wide variety of mediums including printmaking, clay work, moldmaking, sculpting, 2d and 3d work and through a range of traditional and contemporary skills and techniques. The opportunity to work with a wide range of material processes is extended to include the design , arrangement and display of new work within a gallery environment, with the guidance of professional artists, curators and technicians.

Co-organisers of the Manorhamilton PrInt Group, Phoebe Dick and Liz Byrne have run collaborative printmaking projects including: OVERPRINT 2024, The Loveliest Tree 2015 and 2016) and the print symposium Evidence of Small Behaviours (2015) as well as a whole range of other creative community projects such as the cross-border Stitching Stories in 2019. Herbie McCann is a master ceramicist who has exhibited widely in Ireland and abroad. A registered technical provider at the Centre, McCann is committed to the experimental development of the artform often sharing his creative interests as a mentor to professional artists as well as community groups and schools. McCann is currently mapping a series of ceramic glazing experiments at the Sculpture Centre with co-ceramic adventurers Rebecca Halpenny and Elaine Harrington.
