The Digital Fine Art, Print and Multi-media studio provides for high quality print work, video and graphic design. This is fully equipped with the latest MAC technology, applications and a Canon A1 Inkjet Printer. The transfer from digital to traditional print technology is a key area of development.

The facility caters for high quality digital art and print and can be used by artists undertaking projects at the centre or for hire. The use of the Mac’s is €5 per day and charges are made on the use of ink and paper for print runs.

A number of workshops and induction courses are planned to familiarize artists with the various applications. This is an expanding facility and at present the equipment includes:

• 4 x iMac 20”, 2GB
• 1 x Canon InkJet W6200P A1 printer
• 1x A3 Colour laser printer
• 1 x Epsom 4990 Flat bed scanner
• Slide Scanners: 1 x Nicon 35mm and 1 x Canon medium format scanner
• 1 x a3 flat bed scanner
• Adobe Creative Suit premier; (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, Go-Live, Acrobat Professional, Adobe Bridge, Dreamweaver8, Final Cut Pro, Soundtrack pro, DVD Studio V)
• 2 x Graphics tablet (A6),
• 2 x Spider 2 calibration equip.
