The Arts in Education Portal (http://www.artsineducation.ie) is the national digital resource of arts in education in Ireland. Now in its fourth year, the Portal has developed a significant audience since its launch in 2015.
The Portal represents a dynamic space that connects the arts in education community and presents opportunities, events, models of best practice, blogs, essays and other resources to support the ongoing development and visibility of the sector.
In 2018, we invited regional audiences to connect with us in Cork at the Glucksman and in Dun Laoghaire at the LexIcon at a series of events where practitioners could learn more about the Portal and what it offers, share and showcase their work, connect with the regional community offline, get support and be inspired! This event took place in 2019 in the Northwest at the Leitrim Sculpture, on Saturday February 23rd.
These events are open to: Teachers, artists, arts managers and anyone with an interest in arts in education.
