Frances Hennigan is a visual artist, who lives and works between Roscommon and Duisburg (DE). She researches online fringe political communities creating works that explore themes of misinformation, dog whistles and self versus group identity in the pipeline of radicalisation. Her practice draws on references to internet culture and fringe internet politics to situate the issues of those who are chronically online including; loneliness, and online portrayals of identity and belonging.
