Residencey Exhibition: 'House Forms'

Project Statement

Peter Williams produced a series of prints based on a range of non-toxic techniques he applied to woodcuts sourced from locally felled forests. Williams used additional items found locally to create new prints & drawings based on his ‘boxed series’.

The work was developed through a number of walks and journey’s in the landscape which he made and culminated in a series of large-scale wood relief works and wooden sculpture constructions.

As part of the residency Williams also advised on setting up the new print workshop and regularly gives masterclasses at the centre.
