Design Workshop with Artist Leo Scarff & Sligo IT Students

As part of his residency at Leitrim Sculpture Centre, artist Leo Scarff organised a workshop for 20 design students from Sligo Institute of Technology.

The students had just begun a project to design a screen and storage element for an interior as part of the course so the gallery show and workshop was enthusiastically received.

Leo organised model making materials and set the students a task to produce a scale model of their idea which was followed by a critique with lecturers Michael Roulston and Rowan Watson. Leo also began the day by giving a slide show of his work and current projects at the residency studio on main street.
